On March 31, 2022, ChinaXiv, a platform for Pre-publication of Scientific Papers of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), was held in Beijing. ChinaXiv discussed and cooperated with more than 50 research institutions to seek common development. This conference is organized by ChinaXiv in order to support Chinese scientists groups to build academic exchange systems for preprints in their respective fields, and to explore the modes and methods of co-building a platform for the exchange of preprints in their fields. The meeting will be held in a combination of online and offline. They are from Chinese Mathematical Society, Chinese Botanical Society, High Energy Physics Branch of Chinese Physical Society, Chinese Computer Society, Research Society of Scientific and Technological Journals of Chinese Universities, Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Institute of High Energy Physics, National Astronomical Observatories, Institute of Psychology, Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xinjiang Ecology and Science of Chinese Academy of Sciences The conference was attended by experts and scholars from the Institute of Geography, Chunguang Institute of Mechanical Engineering, President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Agricultural Information, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing ICT Media Co., LTD., Science of China Magazine, Tencent and other institutions. At the meeting, Zhang Zhixiong, deputy director of the Literature and Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, introduced the invitation of ChinaXiv to jointly build a specific field of preprint exchange system. Wei Pangi, library director of Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, reported a successful case of building a Chinese psychology preprint platform based on ChinaXiv. Chu Jingli, director of the Department of Library, Information and Archives Management of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, reported the reflections on the co-construction of a preprint platform in the field of pictorial documents.
